Ok everyone, so sorry i dont ever update, but im going to try to now, but its really late, so it might be short and sweet :).
I leave on Saturday to go to Springfield. I'm going to be living down there for the next 9 months in an apartment that is about a mile away from James River Assemblies of God Church. I've been accepted into a discipleship program called Master's Commission, which is based out of the James River Church. It includes 16 hours of college credit hours, 20 hours of service in a specific area at the church (my 'area' will probably be women's ministry, youth ministry, or media), it also includes outreach and small mission trips around the area in missouri and such doing work and dramas, dances, or human videos. at the end of the nine months we'll all go on a mission trip to central or south america, im not sure where exactly yet. i'll also be meeting together with a small group for accountablility purposes, and i'll be memorizing scripture, reading and writing reports on 10 other books, i will be disciplined in other areas such as budget, lifestyle, exercise, eating habits, quiet times, etc. so i'm going to be really busy. and im going to be changing and learning soooo much!!!
im really excited, yet nervous and scared, sad to leave, but so glad that i have this opportunity! so, i have a few mixed feelings, but in general im very content with what im going to be doing. i know that i have changed my mind on what i am doing a gazillion times or so... (MSU<LONGVIEW<NORTHWEST<LONGVIEW<now this??? :) and i still have no idea what im going to do next year, but at least i know where i am at right now, and what im doing for the next 9 months! :)
please keep me in your prayers to have strength and health as i go through these next 9 months...
please keep me posted on what you are doing too!! this sounds horrible, but i hardly ever check other peoples xanga, i only get on because people hound me about not updateing! :) so please leave me comments!!
